Julie successfully became a Health Kinesiology Practitioner in 2005. Since then she has become an HK Tutor and is the HKUK Open College Network Co-ordinator.

Julie still continues to find Health Kinesiology an incredible therapy and enjoys helping others to learn HK to be practitioners, or, if they prefer, just for their own interest and perhaps to work with family and friends. Health Kinesiology has been life transforming for herself and those she works with.

Julie is pleased to be able to use her skills as a Qualified Teacher and Complementary Therapist to teach Health Kinesiology. Julie is approachable and inspiring whilst encouraging each individual towards fulfilling their potential. She has used her skills to offer support to other practitioners over the years.

Julie’s first degree is BSc (Hons) Education and Psychology and she has a PGCE, teaching qualification, both of which she successfully completed with The Open University. She then completed a BA (Hons) Degree in Complementary Therapy – Shiatsu Pathway at The University of Derby in May 2010. This enhanced her understanding of people on many different levels and further supports her Health Kinesiology work and teaching.

Julie has undertaken a range of Health Kinesiology training under the guidance of a variety of HK teachers including Dr Jimmy Scott, the founder of Health Kinesiology.

Julie has always enjoyed helping people to learn in different roles including as a professional teacher, therapist, volunteer, and in daily life including as a mother. She is an enthusiast, particularly for the complementary therapies, and this has led to her role as a Vice President for the Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT).

Julie usually offers the HK training over 4 days but also finds it helpful for some to complete the training over 5 shorter days if they would prefer. If you would like dates other than those advertised for the training please contact Julie and she will try to accommodate you. Also, if you have a small group of people and are willing to pay travel and accommodation expenses, Julie is willing to travel to your location at dates agreed between her and yourself.
